It’s always exciting to find a cool statement piece as a starting point for a new outfit.  At the heart of this look, you’ll find an ivory midi skirt, detailed with a hint of floral (Similar Here).  I fell in love with this soft romantic piece immediately, as well as how the petals cascade down the skirt. The vertical pleats in the skirt lengthen the look of your legs and the light wispy tulle layer is perfect for summer.  It flows beautifully when slightly caught by the breeze.

I wanted to keep the skirt the focus of the ensemble.  So, I styled the look with a simple delicate tee (Similar Here), in the same blush tone as the petals on the skirt.  The lightweight feel keeps it appropriate for hot days. Plus, the jersey fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable.

Thankfully, I just bought these adorable Pink Steve Madden Born heels (similar here) for a wedding in June! They are timeless, modern, pair perfectly with the embroidered blossoms, and compliment the gentle nature of the overall look.

To maintain the floral tone, I threw on a pair of flower earrings (Similar Here), from Lou Lou Boutique in Philly, and completed the outfit with a rosy pair of sunnies.  This outfit is perfect for brunch with the gals, church, a dinner date on vacation, or even a hitting up a winery!  How will you wear it?

This spring season’s weather has been crazy!  When it’s 80 degrees and sunny one day and 60 degrees and raining the next it’s difficult to judge what to wear!  Luckily, no matter what season, you can’t go wrong laid back in an all black look!  The fun part is spicing it up to show off those red locks!

I chose to sport this laid back look with a light H&M cold shoulder top with bell selves and a pair of high waisted H&M black jeans.  Unfortunately, I have short legs, so I often wear bottoms that are high waisted in order to give them an elongated feel.  I chose to pair them with these killer Calvin Klein Elin loafers.  Patent leather is making a huge comeback!  Additionally, the shine gives the ensemble a little texture.

SIDE NOTE: All black really makes red hair pop don’t you think?

My favorite part of this outfit is hands down this western floral Nasty Gal belt bag.  The new age fanny packs are back on trend, and I couldn’t be more happy! Who wants to carry a purse all the time anyway? lol. Together, this outfit is comfortable and classic with a modern twist.

The beach is one of my favorite places to visit.  I’m a complete sucker for the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun.  As a redhead, being a beach bum poses a problem.  We burn…quickly.  So, I before I head down to the shore, I make sure to pack my sunscreen and a cute coverup.

I have been completely entranced with floral’s this summer.  When I search for a cover up, I have two requirements: 1) it must be a long sleeve, for extra sun protection, and 2) it MUST be lightweight so I don’t sweat to death.  This one from Forever 2 is a light gozzy cotton material that allows air to flow through, so I can enjoy the sun and not get burnt to a crisp! A redheads dream!
